On Saturday, June 25, the non-profit organization Discover Madison, Inc. (DMI) hosted its first Amqui Station Gala at the Amqui Station and Visitor's Center in Madison.
The elegant evening featured esteemed honorees, talented local musicians and
approximately 70 donors and supporters of (the facility). Among those
(in attendance) were elected officials, including Nashville Mayor Karl Dean,
Representative Jim Cooper and council-men and -women from Davidson County
districts. Honorees for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Elliott of
the Memorial Foundation, who have been wonderful supporters of the Amqui
Station and Visitor's Center since its inception, as well as outstanding
citizens of the Madison community for many years.

held on the top floor ballroom at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel.
Among Nashville School of Law faculty, alumni and supporters, in attendance were this year's annual Recognition Dinner Honorees, alumni Robert Ballow and faculty member Trevor Howell, as well as Recognition Dinner Chair, Charlie Niewold.
